The contract is for the provision of an overarching ICT managed support service for all Waterways Ireland sites

The contract will consist of a number of elements:
โ€” remote monitoring of all Back Office Equipment (including but not limited to: servers, switches, UPS and virtual environment),
โ€” support, management and maintenance of all back office equipment/software (including but not limited to: servers, operating systems, middleware, switches, UPS, virtual environment),
โ€” support, and maintenance of specialist peripherals (including but not limited to: A0 printers/scanners, CCTV),
โ€” support, management and maintenance of the enterprise firewall environment,
โ€” support, management, maintenance and development of the VoIP (Lync 2013+),
โ€” provision of services for the analysis, design and development of SharePoint (2013+) software based business applications and systems,
โ€” the management and extension of the LAN and wireless networks at all sites,
โ€” continuous process improvement in line with changing technology by provision of specialist advice and services as required,
โ€” vendor software security, laptop encryption and software patching updates in line with best practice (e.g. ISO27001),
โ€” the provision of technical refresh(s) of hardware and/or software may also be required during the lifetime of the contract.
