Schools Broadband Service Desk

Thisi RFT seeks the provision of a Service Desk to support the Schools Broadband Programme for all Primary and Post-Primary schools in Ireland during the term of the Services Contract. The Service Desk is being provided in the context of the continued provision of broadband connectivity and services to approximately 4 050 schools. The Service Desk is required to provide a high quality, flexible, first level support service to all schools and is required to be a single point of contact with schools in relation to broadband connectivity and services including content filtering, webhosting-blogging, and security services. Other additional services may be introduced during the contract period. The Service Desk is required to provide operational day to day technical support to schools in relation to broadband internet access. This will consist of providing broadband related information, advice, guidance, and support to schools as well as first level problem recording, tracking, diagnosis, broadband related technical support, issue escalation, referral and resolution.
