IT support contract. RTE wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a consolidated support agreement from one or more suppliers for all of RTEs IT infrastructure that supports its enterprise IT systems. Suppliers can sub-contract relevant support items provided they have a core competency to deliver >60 % support for the various areas. The resulting contract will be offered in one or more lots depending on the suitability of the chosen supplier/s. Where the entire contract is awarded to one vendor the contract will be managed by that prime vendor. In the event of multiple vendors being chosen then each vendor will be responsible for the element of the contract that is awarded. The principal objectives for this tender are: a) Reduce overall costs associated with the provision of these services to RTE; b) Improve the current service delivery model; c) Improve management, reliability and efficiency of existing multiple support contracts; d) Identify key areas of additional benefit; e) Consolidate all support into one contract; F ) Consolidate invoicing; g) Consolidate management Information.
