Firstly it will be used to provide to potential suppliers (our market) with an overview of:
— the overall EHR system, with a particular emphasis on the Acute solution,
— an overview of the proposed procurement method under which this particular process will run.
Secondly, this market engagement seminar will also seek the views of the market on potential service delivery models. We believe in giving service providers, regardless of their size, an opportunity to help shape and influence the future of procurement and the provision of these services across the Public sector. The views of the market are important to us and represent an opportunity for participants to provide early input into contracting approaches and service delivery models.
