Description of options:

DCENR will require the right to extend the contract beyond an initial term of 10 years, at it discretion, by multiples of 12 months or more, subject to a maximum contract term of 15 years. Any extension will be subject to satisfactory performance by PMLH and continued demonstration for value for money.

The contracting authority anticipates that this contract will be awarded to a single legal entity. In the event that there is a supply chain of providers, the contracting authority reserves the right to require that the legal entity to which it awards the contract takes primary responsibilty for the supply chain, or to require that each party undertakes joint and several liability. In the event that the legal entity to which the contract is awarded is a subsidary company, the contracting authority reserves the right to require a parent company guarantee from the parent company.
