Description of the procurement
An Post is seeking to enter into a new single party framework agreement for the provision of infrastructure and cloud supply and support services, with one supplier for
Lot 1: Supply of infrastructure hardware, software, services and support; and
Lot 2: Provision of an enterprise monitoring solution for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.
Lot 1: Supply of infrastructure hardware, software, services and support
A. Managed service for:
โข cloud and on premise backup;
โข cloud (IaaS) and on premise infrastructure patching;
โข maintenance of monitoring and alerting 24X7;
โข option for security logging and event management 24x7;
B. Supply of:
โข enterprise hardware, including SANs, FC switches and servers, and related software;
โข software solutions, including cloud-based options;
โข enterprise backup solution (SaaS or on premise) for all local and cloud data;
โข enterprise Patching Solution (SAAS) for all enterprise backend services;
โข enterprise Asset Management Solution (SAAS) that will integrate with with Intunes, AD, AAD and ITSM toolset;
โข integration/migration of current systems with managed services solutions;
C. Support for new and existing enterprise hardware and related software
โข storage area networks;
โข fibre channel switches;
โข servers;
D. Support of virtualisation solution
โข supply of licensing for Vmware environments;
โข provision of Vmware support services;
Lot 2: Provision of an enterprise monitoring solution
An Post require the following deliverables:
A solution to provide early detection and, where possible, resolution of real and potential problems and enable IT administrators to pre-emptively resolve problems and prevent major systems failure or application outages across all enterprise artefacts (excluding desktop services).
