Environmental and Planning Consultancy Services for the College Green traffic management measures and Civic Plaza

Dublin City Council

The introduction and operation of Luas Cross City (LCC) in College Green introduces a new mode of transport into an already busy and congested area. The development of traffic management plans in order to allow LCC to operate safely and efficiently and to cater for pedestrians, and cyclists requires a fundamental rethink of the โ€˜useโ€™ of College Green. The Environment and Transportation Department have proposed the removal of all East West transport movements through College Green, except for pedestrians and cyclists, in order to allow the safe and efficient movement of all transport modes in this area.
Dublin City Council (DCC) wish to invite suitably qualified consultants to tender for a contract to provide an Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Impact Statement for the College Green traffic management measures and Civic Plaza, and Project Management & Co-ordination of Statutory Planning Processes.
