The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions takes a strategic and long-term approach to the planning and implementation of its information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. Eurofound aims to ensure that its ICT architectures serve its current needs and that it uses state-of-the-art and well tested technologies and practices concerning its internal hardware, operating systems, network architectures and applications. The ICT Unit provides support for its internal end-user community of approximately 120 staff members. Eurofound requires a service contract to assist its ICT section in the implementation of a number of ICT infrastructure, development, networking and application/system projects, for the period of up to 4 years.
