ESB Trading is currently completing the implementation of the Aligne software suite fromSungard Energy, incorporating the TRM, Global Back Office, Gas Ops and Power Ops modules, together with Market Map Energy, as part of a fully integrated IT solution.Following go live, planned for Q4 2014, ESB Trading will require specialist services to provide ongoing support and development capability for this software suite in order to meet business requirements in a changing market environment. The services have been allocated in two lots and ESB Trading is inviting expressions of interest from vendors for one or both lots.Lot 1: Provide an on-site managed service to maintain and enhance ESB's Aligne software suite, including performance of the following core activities:— Defect resolution,— Enhancements,— New projects,— Upgrades,— Liaison with vendors and internal IT functions.Lot 2: A panel of subject matter experts to assist ESB in the design and delivery of new developments to their ETRM solutions. The examples should be with reference to the Lot 1 requirement in Section 11.2.1 above.
