Bord Gais Eireann

Bord Gáis Éireann require the provision of IT services to provide application support and development services for a number of enterprise applications.
It is anticipated that the framework will cover the services outlined below to Bord Gáis Éireann (including any subsidiary or holding company of Bord Gáis Éireann) initially for a 5 year period, with a Bord Gáis Éireann option to extend for up to a further 1 year, subject to an annual review after the 5 year period at the sole discretion of Bord Gáis Éireann.
The tender is divided into 6 lots as follows:
1. Work & Asset Management.
2. Operational & Middleware.
3. Business Intelligence.
4. Financials.
5. Content Management & Web Sites.
6. Customer.
Suppliers may be awarded contracts for one or more lots. Separate contracts will be awarded to the winners of each respective lot. The contract scope includes the following services for the various categories of enterprise applications, including but not limited to:
— A - Application Support.
— B - Incident Management.
— C - Problem Management.
— D - Development Services.
— E - Monitoring (Integrations, Middleware and Batch jobs).
— F - Licence Management.

A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who respond to this notice. Expressions of interest should be addressed in writing and sent via email for the attention of The Shared Services Procurement Manager to kkidd@bge.ie. The questionnaire will cover the financial, economic and technical capacity of the candidates. The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17.00 hrs on Tuesday 12.8.2014. The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list. This process may also include interviews with candidates. The contracting entity will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred by candidates or tenderers relating to this contract award procedure. Requests to participate may be submitted by single entities or by groups of service providers. A group will not be required to convert into a specific legal form in order to submit a request to participate, but may if Bord Gáis Éireann considers it necessary to ensure that the contract is carried out to its satisfaction, be required to do so prior to award of the contract. Bord Gáis Éireann also reserves the right to contract with each member of the group on the basis of joint and several liability, or with one member of the group as a main contractor with a number of sub-contractors or on any other basis as Bord Gáis considers appropriate.
