DAA views the virtualisation project as a core component of its IT Strategy; DAA understands the benefits from the immediate reductions in operational costs, and the introduction of a platform which offers high availability, scalability and flexibility for all server resources.
DAA uses Microsoft Windows 200X as its core platform for Intel based systems, which is currently running on 264+ server hardware that is between one to four years old. As part of an infrastructure refresh DAA would like to “migrate” the majority of the windows solution and other key server resources into a virtual solution.
