TG4 is the National Irish language channel based in Baile na hAbhann, Co Galway, Ireland. TG4 broadcasts a mixture of live studio based programmes, Commissioned programmes as well as acquired material for 24 hours a day. TG4 also has a very popular, award winning website with a Player for viewing live and archive material. TG4 infrastructure includes a presentation playout suite, 2 studios and associated galleries, a Lines/input room, a tape Ingest suite as well as a number of edit suites and supporting central apparatus rooms. Suitability to pursue the professional activity:

The project is of genuine urgency as TG4 wishes to complete the transition to HD before Analogue Switch Off (ASO), planned for October 2012.
