Review and Development of Timber Pricing Mechanisms for the Coillte Group

Coillte

Coillte, the commercial semi state company responsible for the management of the state forestry assets, is undertaking a review of the current timber sales system of fortnightly auctions, where timber is sold to customers either standing in the forest or at roadside. The current system has been in operation for the past 15 years. Coillte is now seeking a professional service provider to work on the review of the current timber sales pricing mechanism and the development of pricing mechanisms that may be required as a result of the sales system review findings. The service provider should have prior experience in the development of pricing mechanisms within the forest industry.
