Kerdiffstown Landfill Remediation Project - Environmental Services (Environmental Protection Agency)
The landfill and waste facility at Kerdiffstown has closed and is now undergoing the early stages of a clean-up or ‘remediation’ process. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is using powers under the Waste Management Act 1996 (as amended) to restore the site and put in place appropriate aftercare measures to prevent and limit pollution from the materials on the site.
