Development, Construction and Operation of Wind Generation Assets. BGE are currently progressing an opportunity to place wind generation assets onto the all-island electrical transmission grid. These Wind Generation assets will support the security of supply to the island of Ireland and assist in meeting Irelands environmental targets. The choices of technology is likely to be based on the attributes and characteristics of each site. The environmental performance of the wind turbines will be key aspect in the selection of the technology.
