Partial revision of steam turbine generator, Tarbert No4. including supply of turbine blades. Partial revision of steam turbine generator No4 located at Tarbert Generating Station, Tarbert, Co. Kerry, Ireland including supply of turbine blades. This is scheduled to take place over a 37 day period during the first half of 2011. The dates of the outage period have yet to be agreed. During the period required to undertake this work a number of tasks on the turbine/generator will be undertaken, namely examination of: Bearing pedestal. Stop and control steam valves. Electrical generator. Low pressure turbine blade examination. Supply of spare and replacement components. The successful contractor will be expected to supply any replacement blades as may be required during the steam turbine generator revision.
