International Literature Festival Dublin (ILFD) 2024 will be a 10-day event May 17 - 26, in Merrion Square Park. It celebrates the power of words and ideas and reaches diverse audiences of all ages via in-person and online experiences, building insight, connection and revelation. ILFD celebrates both globally renowned and outstanding new authors, thinkers, activists, translators and artists. Now centralised in the beautiful Merrion Square Park, ILFD welcomes residents and visitors to linger and enjoy Dublin, a UNESCO City of Literature. It continues to garner dynamic partnerships, including DUBLIN Literary Award. The ambition to offer new opportunity and platform to the literature and wider cultural community in Ireland, and in Dublin in particular, is a vital driver. It is energized and renewed by celebrating diverse voices and enjoys introducing audiences to the great works in translation. The programme is driven by a commitment to inspire, stimulate and entertain audiences of all ages.
