The department is located in the Tourism and Leisure Education Building on the Cork Road Campus which has state of the art facilities for all programmes offered in the department. There are extensive facilities provided for the provision of language and tourism education consisting of: โข Dedicated Language and Information Technology laboratories. โข Ten state of the art training kitchens โข Fine dining training restaurant and Bistro training restaurant โข Full operational training bar and lounge โข Reception training laboratory โข Twenty four teaching classrooms The department has a compliment of 45 academic and professional staff with national and international reputation, offering students the best educational opportunities in languages, tourism, hospitality and the culinary arts. South East Technological University invites tenders from suitably experienced companies to supply the Department of Languages Tourism and Hospitality for the purposes of use in the training kitchens and restaurants and for consumption as part of this training. The contract for the supply to the department will commence in September 2026. This contract will run for a period of 12 months with a further 3 x 12 months extensions Tenderers can apply for one (1) or more Lots. Tenderers MUST confirm in the tables which Lots they are tendering for and indicate their preference.
