Short description
IIn April 2022, SWMDC made an application to the Department of Rural and Community Development under the Rural Regeneration Development Fund for the development of the Valkenburg Hotel on Main Street, Ballinrobe into a community arts and amenity centre. This application was made in collaboration with Ballinrobe Civic Arts and Amenity Company CLG , which owns the building. The application was successful, with a grant of €4.6million approved towards total project costs of €5.7million. The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport, and Media has also made additional funding of €750,000 available to the project. To progress this project, SWMDC is seeking a Project Manager to support the realisation of the new Ballinrobe Community Arts and Amenity Centre. Please read tender documentation provided
