Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: SAP Support services for FÁS. SAP is the primary accounting application in FÁS. The system (version 4.5b) was implemented in June 2000. There were further upgrades to the system in 2002 (version 4.6c) and in 2007 (ECC 6.0). The current environment is Windows 2003 and Oracle 10. The modules of SAP implemented in FÁS are FI, CO and MM. The SD module is used to provide a solution for the control of night training courses in FÁS. SAP SRM version 5.0 is used to punch-out to a number of suppliers using the Classis scenario i.e. all material management documents (purchase orders, goods receipt, service entry sheets and invoices) exist in the back end system (ECC 6.0). FÁS is also in the process of implementing SAP SRM-MDM Catalog version 3.0. The catalogue will be used to control training contracts with FÁS training providers. The support contract in the form of an Outline Agreement will operate for a period of four years. The framework will also operate for a period of four years and as requirements arise, the most economically advantageous tenderer within the framework will be appointed following a mini competition.
