Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Mooncoin Regional Water Supply Scheme - Phase 1A - Request to Participate. Suitability Assessment of Works Contractors [phase 1 of restricted procedure] for the following works to be carried out in South Kilkenny. — Provision of pumps, control house, power and instrumentation and site works, to facilitate the development of the Kilmacow Well Field, — Construction of a treatment plant and highlift pumping station close to Dunkitt village, — Iron and Manganese removal facilities, if necessary, — Construction of a 5 300 m3 balancing storage reservoir at the treatment works, — Construction of 2 Nr. 5 500 m3 low level reservoirs at Killaspy, — Construction of approximately approx. 8 414 lin.m of rising mains from the well fields to the treatment works and from the treatment works to the low level reservoirs at Killaspy, ranging in diameter from 200 to 500 mm, — Construction of approx. 4 243 lin.m of 400 mm diameter distribution main from Killaspy to Belview Port Industrial Area. The works must be constructed, performance tested and fully operational no later than June 2010 in order to satisfy future industrial demands at Belview Port.
