Additional requirements โ Web Sales. Currently we cannot sell on-line; the required system will need to address this form of sales in totality. Shannon Heritage requires a visitor management system to cater for booking requirements, advance reservations, real-time on line sales from inventory, admissions procedures, ticketing, invoicing & reconciliation for groups and individual visitors, catering for a range of visitor prices and products relevant to each individual attraction. The system will be used to store and retrieve information, and conduct transactions related to the overall Shannon Heritage businesses. It will be an integral part of the Shannon Heritage internal processes and existing systems and should be all encompassing for departments dependant on it, integrating with existing in-house and 3rd party internal systems. It should aid to deliver Shannon Heritage services as promised to our customers. Requirements of the system will include an integrated reservation system to create, book, manage, integrate and distribute multiple types of product inventory and associated rates/prices (Day visits, banquets, evening entertainments, lunch & catering bookings, one unit accommodation, activities and event tickets etc) from a single system including a customizable reservation process to include tour operator series bookings & allocations and search criteria Internet Booking Engine (B2B & possibly a phase 2 B2C) and call center bookings. โ Manage information for customers holding full details (contacts, configurable pricing types i.e. such as per person rates, prices, commissions etc), including travel agent booking and commission tracking & tour operator credit and payment tracking, โ Configurable files working with established security controls to manage capacity controls, availabilities and overbooking, for all locations, attractions, evening entertainments etc enabling staff to provide an immediate response to customer enquiries with accurate availability and information, โ Configurable pricing databases storing pricing structures, such as per person, product associated, date parameterized, and provide for the pricing of custom built products changeable by predefined levels of security access, โ Reservation functionality to include, capturing marketing information, generating promotional discounts, membership tools, audit trails, alerting tools (alert for deposit requirements, final numbers etc), user definable manifests for the effective on-site operation, allocation of audience participation roles to a single booking, customers special dietary or requirements, โ Operational, accounting, management and affiliate tracking reports, โ Admissions procedures to include, payments (possibly multiple forms), reconciliation of the booking process, end of day reconciliation of cash/credit, capturing customer data, issuing & collating special promotions & discount information, โ Sales & marketing, operational and management reports, โ Online payment processing.
