Website Development Services. Tourism Ireland Limited is the company charged with the overseas marketing of the island of Ireland as a tourist destination. Its current web presence consists of twenty-three market websites in thirteen languages. The replacement of this network with a new and improved global web presence is the objective of this contract. Tourism Ireland Limited is seeking a service provider or consortium of service providers with international experience capable of developing an interactive multi-lingual web presence. It is envisaged that services will include: i) design and development of the consumer websites; ii) website build and roll-out in selected markets in different languages; iii) content generation, content integration and content management; iv) staff training and website maintenance; v) periodic enhancements and changes. vi) local market office support; vii) website hosting; and viii) consumer enquiry servicing and collection of consumer information. The new website must be designed for optimisation and for accessibility. There must be an efficient methodology for making replica sites and rolling them out in the markets. The content management system must give each market office the autonomy to customise its own site. During the duration of the contract, site re-design, improvement of functionality and the creation of additional market sites may become necessary.
