Teagasc invites tenders for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of a complete biogas to biomethane upgrading, compression, and CNG storage system. The system is intended to upgrade biogas produced from agricultural substrates to grid-quality biomethane and to compress and store the biomethane for on-site CNG storage and trailer loading for off-site transport to a gas grid injection point. The proposed system must be capable of upgrading approximately 50-90Nmยณ/h of biogas to biomethane and compressing the biomethane to 250 bar for storage and dispensing. The solution is expected to consist of several integrated unit operations, with tenderers invited to propose a complete system or a modular configuration, provided the tenderer assumes full responsibility for overall system performance, integration, and compliance. Teagasc will only use agricultural feedstocks, including grass silage, wholecrop silage, beef manure, and cattle manure, for biogas production. An existing plinth (approximately 3.5 m ร 11 m, extendable in length up to 19 m) is available on site, along with a biogas chiller. Tenderers are invited to assess and propose integration of this existing equipment where technically feasible, with such integration considered advantageous.
