The successful bidder will be required to: • Provide a slow-speed single-shaft shredder that meets the required specifications. • Deliver the equipment to O’Toole Composting, Carlow within the agreed timeframe. • Provide training and operational support for staff on the use and maintenance of the shredder. • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. • Offer after-sales support and warranty services as required. To be able to operate in Temperature range: -10°C / +37°C ( 14°F / 99°F ) Feed hopper to have hydraulically operated hopper walls on three sides Filling height: to be no more than 2898 mm (9' 6") Filling width to be minimum : 3290 mm (10' 10") Filling length minimum: 4151 mm (13' 7") Material outfeed: Outfeed height: 531 mm (1' 9") Paintwork: to be Single-coat 3-colour with layer thickness: min. 80µm Shredding unit with hydraulic drive system Hydraulic drive with automatic power control and infinitely adjustable shredder drum speed The single drum reversing cycles can be preselected the system must Comprise of: Two hydraulic displacement motors Two planetary reducing gear Diesel Engine must be Tier 4f / EU Stage 5 and have a minimum rated power of 340 kW (460 hp) No. of cylinders minimu : 6 in-line Cooling circuit: liquid Diesel Tank capacity to be minimum : 730 l (193 gal) Telematics system available on machine/ online application and hand held device (synchronised)
