The Department currently uses Cisco Secure Firewall, Cisco ISE, Cisco Secure Client (Premier) with network access and posture modules and associated Cisco Umbrella entitlements primarily for secure remote access and posture for over 3,000 users. Cisco ISE is also used to provide TACACS+ authentication services and identity services for firewall transversal, while the Department uses Cisco ThousandEyes for network (LAN, WAN), internet services, and application monitoring. Our current web proxy platform is an on-premises solution, which requires that all VPN based internet traffic be hair-pinned through the VPN tunnel to get the benefit of the Cisco Umbrella protections derived from our connection through Government Networks (GN). This minimises the benefits we should derive from our Secure Client Premier licensing. The requirement of the Department is to both renew and expand upon our existing subscription licensing to cover all users and endpoints so we can fully utilise the capabilities of our existing Cisco ISE infrastructure throughout the Department both in respect of off-net and on-net clients, while expanding the scope of our cloud managed Cisco Secure Client deployment by bringing the management of Cisco Umbrella in house and expanding its scope to include full Secure Internet Access (SIA) capabilities with data loss prevention. In addition, we wish to procure new Cisco ISE nodes for our DR datacentre and add to our existing ThousandEyes monitoring solution by adding limited endpoint (client) monitoring. To this end the Department wishes to renew and procure these items under a three-year Enterprise Agreement (EA), paid annually in advance (the amounts listed below are the total licenses needed)โฆ o Cisco Secure Client Premier (per user) subscription licenses x 5,000 o Cisco ISE node licenses (new) x 2 o Cisco ISE node support (on existing and new nodes) x 4 o Existing Cisco ISE node (x2) support instance number: 5859634446 o Cisco ISE Premier (per device) subscription licenses x 7,000 o Cisco ISE Advantage (per device) subscription licenses x 350 o Cisco ISE Essentials (per device) subscription licenses x 7,000 o ThousandEyes EndPoint Agents Essentials subscription licenses x 270 o Secure Internet Access (SIA) Advantage subscription licenses x 5,000
