The Central Bank of Ireland has decided to undertake a project to develop and construct a new cash centre in the greater Dublin area. Once the New Cash Centre is constructed and fully operational, the existing national Irish cash centre on a site in Sandyford, Dublin 18 will be decommissioned. The construction of the New Cash Centre and the decommissioning of the Sandyford Cash Centre are together referred to as the Project. The Central Bank of Ireland intends to procure an Automation Design Engineer to advise on all automation related aspects of the Cash Centre Project, to include the specification, design, management of delivery and cost management of integrated automated solution. This role will include reviewing, revalidating and acceptance of an existing Stage 1 automation design with the Central Bankโs automation team, followed by delivery of Stages 2-5 of the Capital Works Management Framework for the automation design. The Competition is being conducted using the Office of Government Procurement Capital Works Management Framework Documents and Applicants will be required to respond to this Competition by completing the Capital Works Suitability Assessment Questionnaire (the โSAQโ).
