General Service Provision To ensure the continuity and efficient management of this service, the successful tenderer must have access to and use of: - Pre-booking system to allow on-time pickupโ€™s (there must be no wait time) following request for taxi services - a pre booked time will be before 30-minute collection time; - Ad hoc booking system must have a taxi arriving at pick up points no later than 20 to 30 minutes, without restriction, to pick up times or area for collection; - Priority passenger service โ€“ a number of the Universityโ€™s staff may be classified as priority passengers and an immediate taxi service must be provided with no wait time; It is highly desirable that taxi services can be ordered, monitored and administered using web-based and app solutions. In the event that the successful tenderer becomes aware of a delay or cancellation of taxi by the driver the passenger must be notified as soon as possible to arrange alternative transport. The drivers will arrive on time; there will be no wait time charge if the driver arrives prior to collection time.
