In the case of framework agreements, provide justification for any duration exceeding 4 years
The maximum duration of the framework agreement will be [ten] [10] years subject to satisfactory annual review of performance.
The reason for a framework longer than the standard defined duration reflects the investment by the Contracting Authority in implementing solutions of this type, the learning curve associated with the adaption of different technologies and their use across the organisation and the associated risks and costs linked to changing provider in a shorter period.
It is anticipated that the maximum end-to-end duration of any contracts awarded under the framework will not exceed ten (10) years.
