Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) was established by the Irish Government under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act 2001 and the Irish Horseracing Industry Act 1994. It is a commercial semi-state body that is responsible for the administration, promotion and development of Horse Racing in Ireland.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board (IHRB) is a company limited by guarantee set up by the Turf Club (established 1790) and Irish National Hunt Steeplechase Committee (the INHSC) (established 1866) as the Regulatory Body for horseracing in Ireland.
Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) and Subsidiaries and the IHRB both require senior IT leadership in the form of a shared chief technology officer as a Service (CTOaaS). The CTO will be responsible for providing leadership and delivering the strategic objectives for HRI and IHRBโ€™s information technology activities.
