Dublin City Council are seeking an Audio Visual (AV) technical design consultancy to design the Audio Visual package for the Greater Dublin Area Control Room to include: Identifying our business needs; Assessment of the new Greater Dublin Area Control Room for the purpose of providing correct Traffic Control Room ergonomics with operator in focus for a collaborative environment; Detail the requirements for producing a high level system architecture design for supporting the application services required for both Traffic Control Rooms, that factor in resiliency measures; Detail the requirements for producing a high level network architecture design for supporting the Audio Visual Services, including integration between the two Traffic Control rooms; Conduct room / space assessment for Audio Visual hardware and software services meeting customer requirements for both the new and existing control room; Providing technical advice and ensuring the Technical Design plan provides state of the art solutions with full compatibility and future proofing the facility; Produce a Technical Design plan for rooms, spaces with vendor agnostic designs; Creating a design integration plan; Concept modelling and option development with customer; Procuring necessary supplier and contractors including preparing all tender documents and carrying out tender assessments; Working with the Environment and Transportation Department and the IS Department to source equipment and services that can be procured through existing contracts and frameworks Supervising the installation, testing and handover.
