The Authority is seeking to appoint a supplier for the provision of Business Intelligence Development Services to support its Business Intelligence function.
The aim of Business Intelligence function within the Authority is to provide high quality, robust, repeatable, maintainable automated data to all users. This will be achieved by acquiring data from various data sources; integrating the data where possible and presenting the data in formats the users can understand and which enables them to extract maximum value.
The BI function manages the extraction of data from source, the transformation of the data in accordance with business rules and loading of data into the BI Data Warehouses. The BI function also presents this data to the user via appropriate visualisations and reporting tools.

The scope of the services required is to develop solutions as necessary to acquire data from source and present that data to the business. This will include, but may not be limited to, the development of the Extract, Transform and Load processes from source systems into the BI Data Warehouse, the modelling and development of any new Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts, and the development of the data visualisations and reports.
