Multiparty Framework Agreement for bespoke software development/enhancement of the University Academic and Business Systems and of new applications and services
ISS has a requirement to deliver effective IT Software development and integrated systems by:
โ Reducing the dependency on systems/suppliers for โcustomโ developments which are required to deliver the mainstream academic and administrative systems. This is particularly an issue with regard to the student records system which is a key component of the system architecture.
โ Implementing a clear system architecture with associated defined linkages with defined benefits and outcomes.
โ Reducing the risk of loss of accuracy resulting from data replication across a number of โsilosโ.
โ Reducing the risk of increasing use of โnicheโ solutions which do not adequately secure key University data.
NUI, Galway is tendering to set up a Multi-Party Framework Agreement over 4 years.
