The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) has a mission to play a leading role in transforming Ireland into a society based on sustainable energy structures, technologies and practices.
The objective of this RFT is to appoint a service provider who will work with SEAI and its partners to maintain a secure, robust, accessible system. High levels of governance controls and supporting SEAI's continuous improvement process are critical requirements from any service provider.
The main requirements of the service provider include but are not limited to:
โ€” Development of a new website design to include advice and guidance on efficient content migration.
โ€” Implementation of a secure Content Management System (CMS) to manage this website.
โ€” Hosting, maintenance and support of the website. Provisions should be made for backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.

โ€” Full search facility to allow for keyword textual searches, inclusive of all readable document types.
โ€” Integration of social media functionality throughout the website, to increase traffic and accessibility of website for visitors.
โ€” Advise on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to ensure optimum website ranking.
โ€” Maintain, develop and build online tools and graphics for SEAI as required.
โ€” Advise on, and as appropriate, implement new technologies or tools that add value to the SEAI website, improve user experience or enhance existing website functionality.
