Construction of a Radiation Oncology centre at Cork University Hospital (CUH):
A new facility of approximately 8 800 mยฒ (Gross Floor Area) over three storeys above ground level, including Bunkers for seven Linear Accelerators and support accommodation, a Brachytherapy Suite, Shelled Out MRI Suite, 2 no CT Scanners, On-Treatment Support, Technical and Administration support accommodation and associated site works.
The Works will be carried out on active hospital campus site and will involve the construction of a highly serviced building with a link to the existing hospital building. Hospital activities will remain in uninterrupted operation at all times during the Works.
Medical Equipment will be procured by the Contracting Authority (CA) and installed by the CA post substantial completion.
