The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation is commissioning a report that would identify and quantify, for Ireland, the economic opportunities and impacts, including
sectoral effects, of a potential Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement; The report will consider the impact on primary, manufacturing and services sectors and include spillover effects on our trade and investment position with key third country economies or regions. The analysis will also take into account the impact on broad economic variables in assessing the overall impact on the economy arising from the TTIP. The report will also propose policy options to maximise and / or address the economic, employment, regulatory and sector advantages / issues arising from the TTIP.
