2013/1033 - Request for tenders for the provision of Web Consultancy Services [Technical Information Architect]
This public procurement competition relates to the provision of web consultancy services from a technical and information architect who will be required to:
a) review, finalise and validate the Houses of the Oireachtas Services web strategy;
b) assess the Houses of the Oireachtas Services web/technical and information infrastructures;
c) use this assessment/gap analysis to inform the redevelopment of the Houses of the Oireachtas Services web site;
d) assist the Houses of the Oireachtas Service in developing a web specification for tender purposes
e) support and assist the Houses of the Oireachtas Service in overseeing the implementation and commissioning of the new web based services.
This is a high level and important project for the parliament of Ireland, the Houses of the Oireachtas. The web is central to the further development of communications and public engagement on the part of the Houses of the Oireachtas.
The website of the parliament is strategically important and therefore ensuring that it functions and performs to the highest international standards is essential. Equally, the Houses of the Oireachtas Commission is committed to achieving greater cost efficiency and value for money in all of its operations.
