An Post National Lottery Company
An Post National Lottery Company (NL) is licensed to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform on the Minister's behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986.
The National Lottery commenced operations in March 1987 with the purpose of operating a world-class lottery for the people of Ireland, raising funds for good causes, on behalf of the Government. The National Lottery is responsible for a number of Lottery games including twice-weekly Lotto draws and associated games, Monday Million and associated games, EuroMillions and associated games, TellyBingo, All or Nothing, a range of scratch card games and TV game shows.
The National Lottery website (www.lottery.ie) currently offers visitors access to information on prizes and results, latest news, winners stories, good causes news and various other company information. It also links to a transactional website where visitors can register an account and play National Lottery games online. National Lottery Play Online currently offers players the opportunity to play Lotto/Lotto Plus, EuroMillions/EuroMillions Plus along with currently six other instant win games online.
The National Lottery requires web development services to cover the following areas primarily:
1. updates and major developments to the lottery.ie websites
2. development and updates to the NL mobile web and mobile apps
3. development of integrated social media apps
4. development and maintenance of NL public web services
