Object Scope of the procurement
Short description:
The National Lottery (NLC) has a requirement for strategic technology consultants for gaming technology, major game and channel system development projects, to support the lottery licence tender competition process, for system selection and conversions and for new internal IT infrastructure projects. The National Lottery will draw on the Strategic Technology Consultantโs broad experience at applying best practices and updated methodologies to assist them to update their own processes and help improve the efficiency of the organisation going forward.
The National Lottery (NLC) has a requirement for strategic technology consultants for gaming technology, major game and channel system development projects, to support the lottery licence tender competition process, for system selection and conversions and for new internal IT infrastructure projects. The National Lottery will draw on the Strategic Technology Consultantโs broad experience at applying best practices and updated methodologies to assist them to update their own processes and help improve the efficiency of the organisation going forward.
The NLCโs requirement for strategic technology consultants will also involve assisting the NLC with various projects from an advisory viewpoint and carrying out and managing projects as required over the lifetime of the framework.

Description of options:
The initial contract is proposed to run to up to 30.6.2013. The NLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to extend the contract for an additional period or periods up to a maximum of 4 years, (including the initial contract period) subject to annual performance and review and subject to the Lottery Licence being extended or renewed by the Minister. Please note that all contractual arrangements are subject to the Lottery Licence. The current licence expires on 30.6.2013.
