Dublin Airport Authority plc (DAA)

DAA views the delivery of an optimised and cost effective IT Managed Service model as a core component of its IT strategy. In addition DAA see this as a strategic opportunity to develop a commercial IT model which leverages the components included in this project to deliver services to its customer base.
DAA currently has many different managed service providers for a range of airport specific and general IT services. This project will look to rationalise and streamline service delivery as well as consolidating services to common suppliers where possible.

Short description:
DAA currently operates multiple service desks in various locations, supporting both airport specific and general IT systems. The current service desks have been in place for over 4 years and will be replaced within the scope of this project.
DAA understands the benefits of deploying a common Service Desk to act as the primary point of contact for all DAA users and airport clients on a 24 x 7 basis.
This common service desk will use an ITSM toolset provided by DAA as per Lot 1 of this RFI.

The subsequent ongoing management of these new systems will be a key deliverable of the overall Managed Services solution.
