The Office of the Ombudsman, on behalf of a possible future Referendum Commission, invites tenders from suitably qualified marketing/project management/communications consultants to advise and assist the Referendum Commission in the planning and execution of a public information advertising and media campaign to inform the electorate and the public generally in relation to possible forthcoming referendums to be held in conjunction with the Presidential Election in October 2011. There will be one referendum on reduction of judicial pay, a further referendum on the powers of inquiry of Parliamentary Committees, and a possible third referendum on the privilege attaching to communications with Members of Parliament. Tenderers should note that the resources available to the Referendum Commission will be extremely limited compared to previous Commissions.
