Garracummer Wind Farm Limited (company number 383356 and registered office Gasworks Road)

The proposed contestable 38 kV cable works (electrical (incl. fibre optic cable) & civil) is associated with the Garracummer (37.9 MW) and Hollyford (9 MW) wind farms located near the village of Hollyford Co. Tipperary.
As per their respective connection agreements these wind farms connect into the proposed Multeen 38/20 kV substation on the Garracummer wind farm site, which in turn connects into the transmission network via approx 17.5 km of 38 kV cable to a looped 110/38 kV substation (presently under construction) known as the Cauteen 110/38 kV substation. The Cauteen 110/38 kV substation site is located near the village of Cappawhite Co. Tipperary directly under the existing Killonan - Tipperary 110 kV overhead line.

A pre-qualification questionnaire will be issued to all candidates who respond to this notice. Expressions of interest should be addressed in writing and sent via email for the attention of The Energy Procurement Manager to cwhite@bge.ie. The questionnaire will cover the financial, economic and technical capacity of the candidates. The questionnaire must be completed and returned to the address in I.1. above not later than 17:00 hrs on Monday 21.2.2011. The responses will be used to assist in drawing up a tender list. This process may also include interviews with candidates.
