Tenders are invited for the supply and installation of a multi-material automatic tape placement head (ATP). The requirement is for an ATP head that can laydown both dry fibre and fibre-reinforced thermoset prepreg tapes, as well as lay-down and in-situ consolidate fibre-reinforced thermoplastic tapes. Different heating sources may be used for each of these tasks. The current tender is for a research capable ATP head, which can be modified by the user during its lifetime to enhance its capability.
