Background:
CIE has three wholly owned subsidiary companies, Iarnród Éireann – Irishrail (IE), Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus. The diesel fuel used by each company is purchased and managed by Irishrail on behalf of the other subsidiaries. While the main fuel storage depot is located on Alexandra Rd, Dublin, IE also maintain bulk stock at its premises located in Inchicore Dublin.
