This particular project is located within Dublin Airport (airside) which opened to operations in 1941. In 1950, annual passenger traffic was recorded at 212 661 persons with 16 769 air transport movements. By 2008, passenger numbers had risen to some 23 500 000 (passengers) with more than 210 000 commercial air transport movements.
