The Works consist of the design and installation of passive fire protection in the Jack Lynch Tunnel, Cork. The tunnel is a reinforced concrete immersed tube type tunnel with two bores for traffic and a central passage for services and emergency pedistrain access. The tunnel is 610 metres in length and is made up of 5 sections, each around 122 metres long, 23.8 metres wide and 8.38 metres high.
