Dublin City Council, using open procurement procedures, invites tenders for the collection and processing of textiles for reuse or recycling. Based on 2014 tonnage data, the current tonnages being processed are in the region of 30 t/month from a total of 45 Bring Bank Sites throughout the City. A contract will be awarded in July 2015, initially for a period for 24 months. It will then be subject to a review with the option to extend for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance.
