Cork City Council intends to rehabilitate watermains in the North Low North and North Low East DMAs of the city. These watermain rehabilitation works will be carried out in two discrete works packages namely Works Package 1 and Works Package 2.

Cork City’s current demand for potable water is approximately 70 000 000 litres per day (Ml/d).
48 Ml/d of this demand is supplied by the Cork City Council’s Lee Road Water Supply Scheme (LRWSS). The remaining 22 Ml/d is imported from Cork County Council from the Cork Harbour and City Water Supply Scheme (CH&CWSS).
