Website services. National Lottery Company have a requirement for 3rd party provision of website services consisting of Hosting Services, Website & Mobile Software Development (IT) & Support, Creative Design and Project Managment. These service requirements are identified in three separate lots: Lot 1 - hosting services; Lot 2 - website & mobile software development (IT) & support; Lot 3: 1. creative design and project management and 2. supplier managment. Applicants may express their interest and submit a Pre-Qualification document for one or more lots. Where applicants are applying for one or more lots, please note the NLC will accept applications from firms or groupings or main contractors with subcontractors. At the conclusion of the 2nd stage of this EU-Restricted tender process, should more than one supplier be selected to provide the services for the three lots, the supplier selected for lot 3 will be responsible for managing the supplier(s) selected for lot 1 and lot 2. The National Lottery website (www.lottery.ie) currently offers visitors access to information on prizes and results, latest news, winners stories, good causes news and various other company information. It also links to a transactional website where visitors can register an account and play National Lottery games online. National Lottery Play Online launched in June 2009 as a pilot site and offers players the opportunity to play lotto/lotto plus, EuroMillions/EuroMillions Plus along with 6 other instant win games online. The website currently receives approximately 40 000 visitors a day and can reach up to 125 000 visitors on days where jackpots are high. A National Lottery iPhone Application was launched last year and to date has approximately 45 000 downloads. An iGoogle gadget is due for launch at the end of May 2010. The National Lottery is in the process of redesigning the website, integrating lottery.ie with the transactional site while also updating the overall design and navigation of the website. The newly designed website is due for launch at the end of 2010.
