Information on framework agreement II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The objective of this contract is to enable the Foundation to optimise the way in which it gathers, communicates, and uses web usage data. This should include both short-term and low-cost actions (quick wins) and a strategic plan for longer-term needs. The outcome of the contract should be: better interpretation of the data most meaningful for the Foundation; an ability to gather it and to communicate it easily to management and other colleagues; to use it to improve the usefulness, usability, and accessibility of the web sites; to decide if and how targeted web products should be produced; to support customer relationship management and marketing. The longer-term aim is to know to what extent our web activities do support and could support the achievement of the strategic goals. Common procurement vocabulary (CPV): 72130000. Quantity or scope of the contract II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The main tasks of the contractor will be to: - come to an understanding of the Foundation's strategic goals in relation to its web presence, - review the existing data from all sources, - advise the Foundation on what to keep, what to drop, and what new activities it could usefully undertake in relation to web analytics, - advise on best practice both in terms of effectiveness and in terms of legal/ethical issues such as privacy and data protection, - advise on how best to use the data in normal operations (marketing, customer relationship management, optimisation of the web sites), - implementation of sample new data gathering/reports, - advise on search engine optimisation and other web site promotion, - review web analytics tools in relation to Foundation needs. The contractor is to produce the following deliverables: - a report giving recommendations on the tasks listed above, - a comparison of web analytical tools on the market in relation to the Foundation's specific needs, - sample analyses and reports using Foundation data. Range: between EUR 36 000 and EUR 40 000. Duration of the contract or time-limit for completion: Completion: 30.9.2007.
